CFCC to host construction apprenticeship career fair next week

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Cape Fear Community College will host a construction apprenticeship career fair next week for people interested in jobs and paid training opportunities in the construction and skilled trades industries.

The event is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 17, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at CFCC’s North Campus in the McKeithan Center’s BB&T Auditorium.

According to the college, local employers will be at the event recruiting for immediate openings and paid apprenticeship opportunities.

The career fair is open to students, graduates and community members with training or experience in construction management, HVAC, electrical work, plumbing, geomatics, interior design and architectural technology.

CFCC says the event is intended to connect job seekers directly with employers in construction and trade-related fields.
