Commercial real estate awards accepting nominations across Cape Fear region
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Cape Fear CREW is accepting nominations for its 2027 Awards of Excellence, which recognize commercial real estate projects and professionals across southeastern North Carolina.
The ninth annual awards event is scheduled for March 18, 2027, at 11 a.m. at the UNCW Burney Center in Wilmington.
Eligible projects and initiatives must have received a certificate of occupancy or reached substantial completion between Jan. 1, 2025, and Oct. 31, 2026.
Nominations are open to the public, Cape Fear CREW members, companies and business partners. There is no fee to submit a nomination, and the deadline is Oct. 31.
Award categories include Best Design, Project Excellence for Industrial and Office, Project Excellence for Multifamily, Mixed Use and Retail, Influential Woman in Commercial Real Estate, and the Community Enhancement Award.
Cape Fear CREW members will also nominate candidates for the Impact Award and Beth Quinn Excellence Award, which will be selected by the organization’s board of directors.
Submissions will be reviewed in early December by an independent panel of commercial real estate professionals, according to the organization.
The awards cover projects and professionals in Wilmington and New Hanover, Brunswick, Pender, Onslow, Duplin, Sampson, Columbus and Bladen counties.
Cape Fear CREW is a regional chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women, an organization focused on advancing women in the commercial real estate industry.
