Just Do GOOD Channel launches through new partnership with WWAY

LELAND, N.C. (WWAY) — A new collaboration between WWAY and Just Do GOOD Entertainment officially launched Tuesday night with a celebration in Leland.

The Just Do GOOD Channel launch event was held at the WWAY Event Space, where guests got a preview of some of the programming that will soon air on WWAY.

The event featured “Divine Renovation” with Erik Estrada and “Air Angels: Flight Helene,” both of which were filmed in Wilmington. Producers and cast members behind the content also attended the launch.

Just Do GOOD Entertainment Executive Producer Valerie Smaldone said the goal is to highlight positive stories and inspire viewers.

“Our motto is that we want to showcase the best of humanity in a chaotic time,” Smaldone said. “And we do live in chaotic times. You report the news, we certainly know that. We’re looking to find the best in people and to showcase that in enlightenment and to inspire others to do good things in the world and to be kind to others.”

WWAY will air 26 episodes of Just Do GOOD content beginning Sunday, Sept. 27, at 10 a.m. Programming will continue every Sunday.
