Bellamy Mansion Museum to host historic downtown walking tour

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Bellamy Mansion Museum will host a 90-minute walking tour of historic downtown Wilmington Saturday, Sept. 19, beginning at 9 a.m.

The “Wilmington: Lost But Not Forgotten” tour is based on Beverly Tetterton’s book of the same name and will explore homes, businesses and other buildings that are no longer standing.

The tour begins and ends at the Bellamy Mansion Museum at 503 Market St. Tickets are $20 per person, plus tax.

Space is limited and registration is required. The tour will take place rain or shine, within reason, and is appropriate for all ages. Organizers note that it may not be suitable for people with limited mobility.
