Rouzer announces October office hours for residents seeking help with federal agencies

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — U.S. Rep. David Rouzer’s office has announced its October mobile office hours across North Carolina’s 7th Congressional District.

Members of Rouzer’s staff will be available to meet one-on-one with residents seeking assistance with federal agencies and programs. Rouzer’s office lists Social Security, the IRS, Department of Veterans Affairs, passports and Medicare among the issues staff may be able to assist with.

The October mobile office schedule is:

• Pender County: Thursday, Oct. 1, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Surf City Town Hall, 214 W. Florence Way in Hampstead; and from 1 to 3 p.m. at Burgaw Town Center, 108 E. Wilmington St. in Burgaw.
• Brunswick County: Wednesday, Oct. 7, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Sunset Beach Town Hall, 700 Sunset Blvd. N.
• Columbus County: Tuesday, Oct. 13, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Columbus County Center, 45 Government Complex Road in Whiteville.
• Bladen County: Tuesday, Oct. 13, from 1 to 3 p.m. at N.C. Cooperative Extension, 450 Smith Circle in Elizabethtown.
• Robeson County: Tuesday, Oct. 20, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the R.E. Hooks Community Building, 100-198 N. Third St. in St. Pauls.

The congressman’s office says the mobile locations are intended to provide another option for residents who are unable to travel to one of Rouzer’s district offices.
