Bladen Community College to host small business funding roundtable

ELIZABETHTOWN, NC (WWAY) — Small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs can learn about funding options during a Small Business RoundTable at Bladen Community College on Monday, Sept. 28.

The event, titled “The Funding Toolbox,” will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in Building 14, Room 135. It is free and open to the public.

The event is sponsored by the Bladen Community College Small Business Center and the Elizabethtown-White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce.

The discussion will focus on funding resources available to startups and existing businesses, including loans and funding opportunities supported by the State Small Business Credit Initiative, or SSBCI.

Participants can also learn about how to determine which funding options may fit their businesses, what lenders look for and how to prepare financial documents when seeking financing.

The roundtable is designed for both aspiring entrepreneurs and established small business owners considering starting, expanding or investing in a business.
