Hoggard airs it out at West Brunswick, winning big 55-14

SHALLOTTE, NC (WWAY) — The Hoggard Vikings defeated West Brunswick Friday night, 55-14, starting off their conference schedule with a win.

The Trojans opened the game trying to snap a four-game losing streak. West Brunswick started junior Kyle Floyd at quarterback, with senior quarterback Josiah Borton still battling injuries.

Hoggard quarterback Matthew Boring connected with Desyn Durand for three touchdowns, all coming in the first quarter. The senior duo is turning heads this fall.

Hoggard also found success on the ground, with Judah Gillespie scoring a rushing touchdown.

Hoggard scored 48 points in the first half and went on to defeat West Brunswick 55-14.
