FOUND: Sheriff’s office searched for woman last seen on Carolina Beach Road

CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Update: This missing woman has been located according to the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office.

The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help finding a 39-year-old woman who has been missing since Sept. 15.

Deputies are searching for Kimberly Amanda DeStefano.

According to the sheriff’s office, DeStefano was last seen at the Spark by Hilton Hotel at 5600 Carolina Beach Road.

DeStefano is described as 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing approximately 155 pounds. She has green eyes and shoulder-length black hair.

The sheriff’s office says she may also have a nose ring.
