Brunswick Sheriff’s Charitable Foundation accepting nonprofit applications

SOUTHPORT, NC (WWAY) — The Brunswick Sheriff’s Charitable Foundation is accepting applications from nonprofit organizations interested in receiving funding from the proceeds of its annual Sheriff’s Charity Ball.

One or more nonprofit organizations in Brunswick County will be selected to receive a donation from proceeds of the 15th annual Sheriff’s Charity Ball, scheduled for March 5, 2027.

The amount awarded will depend on proceeds raised through the event.

To qualify, organizations must be located in Brunswick County and offer programs specifically benefiting Brunswick County residents. If an applicant is a local chapter of a national organization, any funding awarded must be used exclusively in Brunswick County.

Applications must be submitted by Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2026.
