Oak Island man arrested on sexual exploitation charges and given no bond

OAK ISLAND, NC (WWAY) — The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation assisted the Oak Island Police Department with the execution of a search warrant Wednesday in connection with a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

According to the Oak Island Police Department, Mitchell Tyler Moore, 44, was arrested and charged with six counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

Moore was booked into the Brunswick County Jail and is being held without bond, according to police.

The investigation remains ongoing.
