Wilmington brewery hosting fundraiser for Hope Harbor Home

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A Wilmington brewery will host a fundraiser this month benefiting Hope Harbor Home, a Brunswick County organization that supports people and families impacted by domestic violence.

Broomtail Brewing will host its Hops & Hope fundraiser Saturday, Oct. 17, from noon to 5 p.m. at the brewery, located at 6404 Amsterdam Way in Wilmington.

The event is being held during Domestic Violence Awareness Month and is intended to raise money and awareness for Hope Harbor Home.

Hope Harbor Home provides shelter, advocacy and support services for people and families impacted by domestic violence.

The fundraiser will include live music and a featured seasonal beer. Broomtail Brewing says proceeds from each sale of its Persephone beer during the event will be donated to Hope Harbor Home.

The event is free and open to the public.
