Grace United Methodist Church to host Fall Bazaar and BBQ

ELIZABETHTOWN, NC (WWAY) — Grace United Methodist Church of Elizabethtown is inviting the community to its third annual Fall Bazaar and BBQ next weekend.

The event will be held Saturday, Oct. 10, at 1805 West Broad Street, across from Elizabethtown Baptist Church.

The day will begin with a yard sale at 8 a.m., followed by the opening of the bazaar at 9 a.m. The bazaar will feature a bake sale, crafts and vendor booths.

BBQ plates will be served beginning at 11 a.m. Visitors can pick up their meals through a drive-thru or dine picnic-style under a large tent.

The event will also give community members a look at plans for Grace United Methodist Church’s future home. The congregation is preparing to begin construction on a new church building at the same property where the Fall Bazaar is being held.

Grace United Methodist Church currently gathers for worship at St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church in Elizabethtown on Sundays from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
