Paws 4 Purpose fundraiser to support spay, neuter efforts in Pender and Onslow counties

HOLLY RIDGE, NC (WWAY) — A Sneads Ferry-based animal rescue is holding an online fundraiser to support spay and neuter efforts for cats in Pender and Onslow counties.

Paws 4 Purpose Animal Rescue, a nonprofit organization that advocates for spaying, neutering and trap-neuter-return programs, is holding its “Fix the Felines” gift basket raffle through Friday, Oct. 9.

The organization says all proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward its spay and neuter efforts in Pender and Onslow counties.

According to Paws 4 Purpose, the organization has helped facilitate more than 2,000 trap-neuter-return spay and neuter surgeries for community cats over the past three years.

Online raffle ticket sales will end at 5 p.m. Friday.

A live drawing will be held Saturday, Oct. 10, at 1:30 p.m. at Paradise Axe & Arcade in Holly Ridge. The drawing is open to the public, but participants do not have to be present to win.
