Downtown Wilmington offers lowered parking rates through Dec. 26

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Drivers visiting downtown Wilmington on Saturdays can park in the Market Street and 2nd Street parking decks for a flat $5 rate through Dec. 26.

The special Saturday rate is available through the holiday season. The first hour of parking remains free.

The reduced rate applies to parking in the two downtown decks and is intended to give visitors more time to explore downtown Wilmington, including restaurants, shops and the Riverwalk.

On Sundays, meter-only parking is free. The Sunday policy does not apply to parking decks.

The Saturday parking promotion runs through Saturday, Dec. 26, 2026.
