WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Cape Fear Community College (CFCC) is inviting prospective students to explore careers in the video game industry during an upcoming career discovery event.

The college will host its free Career Discovery Night: Simulation and Game Development on Thursday, Oct. 22, from 4 to 6 p.m.

According to CFCC, the program prepares graduates for careers including game designer, game programmer, level designer, content designer, asset modeler and gameplay animator.

The event is free to attend.
