WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Children’s Museum of Wilmington’s annual YachtVenture fundraiser is sold out, but the museum says people can still participate through a dining raffle and online silent auction.

The 16th annual YachtVenture is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 24, from 6 to 9:30 p.m. at Bradley Creek Yacht Club.

Tickets to the in-person fundraiser have sold out.

The museum is also holding its “A Taste of the Coast” raffle, with a prize package consisting of $2,500 in gift cards from 25 local restaurants. Raffle tickets are $100 each, with 200 tickets available.

Restaurants represented in the package include Seabird, Oceanic, Kipos Hellenic Cuisine, Ceviche’s, Manna, Dockside, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, K38 Baja Grill and others.

A silent auction will also be available online beginning Wednesday, Oct. 21. Bidding will remain open until 9:15 p.m. Oct. 24, allowing people who are not attending YachtVenture to participate.

The Children’s Museum of Wilmington says proceeds from YachtVenture, the raffle and silent auction support its educational programs and hands-on learning activities.
