Original play ‘Hysteria!’ premieres in Wilmington
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A new original play makes its debut in downtown Wilmington on Thursday.
Directors Jesslyn Wilson, Meghan Cook, and Stage Manager Katelyn Rivenbark joined WWAY’s Amanda Goodyear to discuss the play.
Spanning centuries of the past and spilling over into the future, Hysteria! An Original Play follows women through time as they dodge accusations of witchcraft, bear the blunders of “genius” doctors, dream up apocalyptic worlds, and survive the uncanny valleys of reality TV.
The performances will take place at the North Front Theater on November 5 – 8 and November 12 – 15.
