Police release identity of man killed in motorcycle crash near Wilmington mall

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Police have released the identity of the man who was killed in a motorcycle crash near the Independence Mall in Wilmington over the weekend.
The accident happened around 10:30 a.m. on Sunday in the 3500 block of Oleander Drive.
Police say the motorcyclist, 37-year-old Jeremy Bruce Evans of Wilmington, died after crashing into a car.
The section of the road was shut down for about two hours.
As of now, police say no charges have been filed against the driver of the car.
