1-year-old child from Randolph County located, sheriff’s office says

UPDATE: The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office reports one-year-old Ava Lee Pierce has been located.

NORTH CAROLINA (WWAY) — A state-wide Amber Alert has been issued for a missing one-year-old girl reportedly abducted in central North Carolina.

According to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, Ava Lee Pierce is 2 feet tall and weighs 20 pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes. Pierce was last seen wearing a white shirt with black pants.

The NC Department of Public Safety says the alleged abductor is Roxanne Michelle Cromer Parson, who is described as a 34-year-old white woman.

They were last seen at 3777 Benny Lineberry Road in Climax, NC.
