Alligator hunting banned in Belville town limits
BELVILLE, NC (WWAY) — Alligator hunting season is back in North Carolina. More than two weeks ago the North Carolina Wildlife Resource Commission approved a one month season.
Saturday, Belville commissioners held a workshop and one discussion item on the agenda was a resolution opposing alligator hunting within town limits.
Commissioner Joe Breault said they came to an agreement and did in fact ban alligator hunting within the town limits.
