Armed and dangerous suspect wanted in Tabor City, police urge vigilance

TABOR CITY, NC (WWAY) — The Tabor City Police Department is still searching for a suspect they say is likely armed and dangerous and wanted in both North Carolina and South Carolina.

Police say Christopher O’neil Strickland is wanted on multiple felony warrants in both states.

Authorities are warning the public to not approach him under any circumstances.

Anyone who sees Strickland is urged to call 911 immediately.

Residents are also being told to take precautions by securing all property, including outbuildings, barns and vehicles, where the suspect could potentially hide.

Police are urging the community to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity as the search continues.
