Tanner Barth joined the WWAY team in September of 2018 as sports anchor. Tanner was born and raised in a small town in southeastern Colorado. He graduated from Kansas State University in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in Mass Communications & Journalism with a minor in Political Science. Before joining the team at WWAY, Tanner was a sports reporter at KKCO-TV in Grand Junction, CO. He has a passion for not only playing sports, but providing the best coverage he can to the Cape Fear.
