UPDATE: Bank near Mayfaire robbed, suspect arrested

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A man has been arrested following a bank robbery in Wilmington.

A Wilmington Police spokeswoman said Glenn Martinoff, 67, has been arrested.

The robbery happened just before 2:00 p.m. near Mayfaire at Dogwood State Bank located at 1131 Military Cutoff Road.

Wilmington Police said Martinoff took an undisclosed amount of cash and took off in a white Lincoln MKZ.

Police say he was armed, but the weapon was not a gun or a knife.

No one got hurt.
