Bomb threat prompts evacuation of New Hanover County Courthouse
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The New Hanover County Courthouse was evacuated Wednesday morning after a bomb threat was called into 911.
Officials say the threat was received sometime before 10:30 a.m.
The courthouse was evacuated as a precaution, and K9s swept the building.
Occupants were given the all clear around 11:20 a.m. and were allowed to return inside.
No additional information about the threat was immediately available.
