Brides-to-be gather for Seaside Bridal Showcase

CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — With over 40 area wedding vendors the Seaside Bridal Showcase seems to be a one-stop shop for New Hanover County brides-to- be.

The event, which is in it’s second year, was held at the Courtyard Marriott in Carolina Beach on Sunday.

Future brides and their families enjoyed menu samples, door prizes, and a fashion show.

Event organizer Amy Johnson says it’s a fun day for everyone involved.

“It brings the community together,” says Johnson. “It offers our brides a chance to come in, whether they’ve come in and looked at our property before if they’re familiar with it, or even if they’re new brides and grooms coming into look at it. We’re excited all the way around the board.”

Over 70 brides were on hand for the event.

Vendors included those specializing in cakes, flowers, dresses, and everything in between.
