Brunswick County man sentenced on drug, gun charges
BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) – A Longwood man who pleaded guilty to drugs and weapons charges in May has now been sentenced.
In June 2015, ATF agents and the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office were tipped off that Jarvis Alonzo Davis, 37, was selling drugs. Agents bought crack, heroin and 3 guns from Davis eleven times between June and October 2015.
Davis was arrested October 20, 2015.
At the time, he admitted he was on probation and could not legally possess a firearm. He also admitted to selling a confidential information cocaine and guns.
Yesterday, Judge Louise Flanagan sentenced Davis to nearly 14 years in prison and 3 years of supervised release.
