Brunswick County now in Stage 3 Water Shortage Warning

BRUNSWICK COUNTY (WWAY) — Brunswick County has moved to a Stage 3 Water Shortage Warning, now imposing mandatory water restrictions.

Nearly a third of Brunswick County is now under an Exceptional Drought, which is the highest tier of drought possible.

These restrictions will remain in effect until further notice due to worsening drought conditions.

Under Stage 3 Warning, all automated outdoor irrigation is prohibited. Water customers are also required to adjust their water usage habits by following the mandatory water usage adjustments.
