Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office K9 team to hold public demonstration Saturday

SHALLOTTE, NC (WWAY) — The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office K9 team will show off some of its skills during a free public demonstration in Shallotte this weekend.

The demonstration is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 26, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Shallotte Training Facility, located at 400 Forst Drive Ext.

The event comes after the Shallotte Rotary Club donated new bite suits to the sheriff’s office K9 team.

K9s and their handlers will demonstrate some of their skills and give attendees an opportunity to learn more about the work they do.

The event is being hosted by the Shallotte Rotary Club and is free and open to the public.

Free hot dogs will also be available during the event.
