Brunswick County voter speaks before voting

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — WWAY spoke with Brunswick County voter Chance Morehead as he arrived at his polling place to cast his ballot on Election Day.

Morehead shared some of the issues that influenced his perspective heading into the election, including local schools and education, immigration policies, and how transgender issues and gender-affirming care are handled and regulated.

Polling locations across North Carolina are open until 7:30 p.m. Voters who are in line by 7:30 p.m. will be allowed to cast their ballots.
