Brunswick County School Board holds final meeting on uniform policy

The Brunswick County School Board meets Tuesday night for its final reading of a uniform policy.

In April, the school board voted “yes” to uniforms at Lincoln, Belville and Town Creek Elementary schools. Initially the vote to allow uniforms at only Lincoln Elementary was on the agenda, but school board members said it was a good time to make a decision for more than just one school.

The new uniform policy would go into effect in August.

The board meeting is at 6:30 p.m. in the County Commissioners chambers at the Government Complex in Bolivia.
