Cameron Art Museum announces 16th season of Jazz at CAM

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Cameron Art Museum has announced the lineup for the 16th season of its Jazz at CAM concert series, which will feature seven performances between September 2026 and April 2027.
The series opens Sept. 3 with a performance by the Benny Hill Quartet. Hill, a Wilmington saxophonist, has performed professionally for more than 30 years with a variety of jazz artists and musical groups.
The season will also include performances by Mangroove on Oct. 1, Yolanda Rabun on Dec. 3, Le’Andra McPhatter on Jan. 7, Brandon Mitchell Quartet on Feb. 11, Matt Booth on March 4 and the James Fernando Trio on April 1.
All performances are scheduled from 7 to 9 p.m. at Cameron Art Museum.
Heather Wilson, the museum’s chief executive officer, said the series has become a longtime part of the museum’s programming.
“Jazz at CAM reflects CAM’s commitment to supporting artists and creating memorable cultural experiences for our community,” Wilson said in a news release.
According to the museum, the upcoming season will feature artists from North Carolina and across the country performing a range of jazz styles, including traditional, contemporary, gospel, soul and Latin influences.
Tickets are available for individual performances or as a full-season package. Discounted pricing is available for museum members, students and educators.
