Cape Fear Community College announces Spring 2026 graduation ceremonies

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Cape Fear Community College will celebrate the achievements of its graduating class during its Spring 2026 commencement ceremonies on Friday, May 8.
The ceremonies will take place at the Wilson Center, with four scheduled times throughout the day: 9 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 2 p.m., and 4:30 p.m.
A total of 1,417 students are expected to earn at least one credential, marking a significant milestone for graduates completing programs across a variety of fields.
Due to space limitations, the ceremonies are ticketed events and will not be open to the general public.
College officials say the multiple ceremony times are designed to accommodate the large number of graduates and their guests while ensuring a meaningful experience for each group.
Additional information about commencement is available on the college’s website.
