Cape Fear Community College hosts part-time hiring fair for students
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — For college students, balancing academics with work can be an important part of the college experience.
Cape Fear Community College helped students find that balance Wednesday by hosting a part-time hiring fair at its downtown campus.
Dozens of students attended the event, where recruiters from the hospitality, food service and nonprofit sectors were on hand to accept resumes and connect with potential employees.
The college will also host a resume workshop on September 2 to help students strengthen their job applications and prepare for the hiring process.
