Case against Hoggard teacher heads to grand jury

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A Hoggard teacher and coach charged with indecent liberties with a student may have to wait months for the next step in his case.

Michael Supak’s case is headed to a grand jury. A judge said today it may not be heard until as late as March.

Supak is accused of kissing a student on campus in October. He’s suspended with pay while the whole thing is sorted out.

Supak is married with three children, including one who attends Hoggard.
