According to the North Carolina Education Lottery Twitter account, one lucky person is a winner after matching all five numbers on their Cash Five ticket last night. The prize is $1,482,698.

The winning ticket was sold at the Time Saver Food Mart on Washington St.

This is the second largest Cash 5 jackpot on record in North Carolina. The largest jackpot so far in the game was $1.7 million that was won in June 2017.
