Castle Hayne man charged with second-degree murder in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A New Hanover County man is facing a murder charge following an incident in New Hanover County.

According to court records, David Eugene Bryan Jr., 35, of Castle Hayne, has been charged with second-degree murder.

The charge stems from an incident that happened on April 22. Court documents allege Bryan unlawfully and with malice killed a man.

Bryan was taken into custody on April 22. Records show he is being held without bond.

A first appearance hearing is scheduled for April 23 at 2 p.m.
