CFCC, NCWorks to host free job fair in Pender County on Nov. 4

SURF CITY, NC (WWAY) — Cape Fear Community College (CFCC) and Pender County NCWorks are partnering to host a free job fair next month, connecting job seekers with employers in Pender County and surrounding communities.

The event is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 4, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at CFCC’s Alton W. Burke Center at Surf City.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet directly with employers, learn about available positions and explore career opportunities across several industries.

Participating employers include the Surf City Police Department, High Tide and Good Vibes, Bartlett Tree Experts and Cardinal Foods.

Organizers encourage job seekers to bring copies of their resumes and be prepared to speak with potential employers about available positions.

The job fair is free and open to the public.
