CFCC, NCWorks to host free Pender County job fair Wednesday
SURF CITY, NC (WWAY) — Cape Fear Community College (CFCC) and Pender County NCWorks are hosting a free job fair Wednesday, Nov. 4, to connect job seekers with employers in Pender County and surrounding areas.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at CFCC’s Alton W. Burke Center at Surf City.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with employers, learn about available positions and explore career opportunities across several industries.
Participating employers include the Surf City Police Department, High Tide and Good Vibes, Bartlett Tree Experts and Cardinal Foods.
Job seekers are encouraged to bring copies of their resumes and be prepared to speak directly with potential employers.
The job fair is free and open to the public.
