CFCC to host career fair for certified nursing assistants, licensed practical nurses
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Cape Fear Community College will host a career fair later this month for certified nursing assistants and licensed practical nurses looking to connect with local employers.
The Certified Nursing Assistant and Licensed Practical Nurse Career Fair is scheduled for Wednesday, July 22, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the L Building lobby on CFCC’s Downtown Campus at the corner of Second and Red Cross streets.
The free event is open to the public and is designed to help attendees explore current job opportunities while networking directly with healthcare employers.

- Liberty Healthcare
- Visiting Angels
- Wilmington’s Parkinson’s Network
- Woodbury Wellness & Rehabilitation
“Certified Nursing Assistants and Licensed Practical Nurses are vital to patient care and in high demand across our community,” said Gina Mecca, CFCC’s director of career services. “This event gives CNAs and LPNs the chance to meet directly with employers who are looking to hire skilled professionals.”
