Children’s Museum of Wilmington reopens Surf’s Up Smile Shack exhibit

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Children’s Museum of Wilmington has reopened its Surf’s Up Smile Shack dental exhibit after redesigning the interactive space.
The exhibit, sponsored by Wilmington Pediatric Dentistry, is designed to help children become familiar with the dental experience through hands-on activities. Museum officials say it also introduces young visitors to careers in dentistry and other healthcare professions.
The museum marked the reopening Tuesday with a celebration that included a ribbon-cutting ceremony and activities for families.
Surf’s Up Smile Shack is one of the museum’s permanent exhibits.
