Coastal Cowboys looking to raise money for national cheerleading championship

WILMINGTON, NC (COASTAL COWBOYS RELEASE) — This year the Coastal Cowboys Pee Wee Cheerleaders have qualified for the National Championships December 6th – 13th 2014 at Walt Disney World in Florida! (The cost to attend, not including travel expenses is $18,824)

The Coastal Cowboys Jr. Pee Wee Cheerleaders compete in the Mid-South Regional Championships on November 28th 2014, if they win, they too qualify for the National Championships. (The cost to attend, not including travel expenses is $13,756)

That is a total of $32, 580. Due to the fact that the Coastal Cowboys had to purchase new equipment this season to ensure the safety of its football and cheer participants (including new cheer mats and helmets for football), we are in dire need of funds.

The girls have worked very hard this season and deserve this opportunity. We would really like to find a way to give them this experience that they will treasure for the rest of thier lives! Please help us!!!

Pop Warner National Championships:

Coastal Cowboys Football & Cheerleading is a non-profit 501(c)(3) ~ (Pending) organization. Our mission is to familiarize young participants with the fundamentals of football, cheer and dance. To provide them with the opportunity to play in a safe, organized and well supervised environment.

Through active participation in team sports and activities the Coastal Cowboys hope to instill fundamental values, skills and knowledge that young people will use throughout their lives.

We seek to provide fun athletic learning opportunities for children, while emphasizing the importance of academic success.

The Coastal Cowboys as an extension of Pop Warner Little Scholars strives to inspire youth, regardless of race, creed or national origin, to practice the ideals of sportsmanship, scholarship and physical fitness as reflected in the life of the late Glenn Scobie “Pop” Warner.
