COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Columbus County Health Department is hosting a back-to-school vaccination clinic Tuesday, August 18, to help students get the immunizations required for the upcoming school year.

The drive-through clinic will be held from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Columbus County Health Department, located at 604 N. Madison Street in Whiteville.

The clinic is aimed in particular at children entering kindergarten, seventh grade or 12th grade, who may need required immunizations before the start of school.

Parents or legal guardians should bring the child’s immunization record, if available, along with an insurance card.

The health department says free school supplies will also be available while supplies last.
