Comedian Kathleen Madigan returning to Wilmington’s Wilson Center

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Comedian Kathleen Madigan is returning to Wilmington for a performance at Cape Fear Community College’s Wilson Center.

Madigan will bring her “Flying Cats Tour” to the Wilson Center on Friday, February 19, 2027, at 7 p.m.

Madigan has spent more than three decades touring as a stand-up comedian and has released seven comedy specials throughout her career.

Her most recent special, “The Family Thread,” followed “Hunting Bigfoot,” which was named Interrobang’s 2023 Comedy Special of the Year.

Her 2016 Netflix special, “Bothering Jesus,” became one of the highest-selling comedy albums and most-played comedy albums on streaming services following its release.

Madigan has made more than 40 appearances on late-night and daytime talk shows. She has also appeared on “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” with Jerry Seinfeld and has had specials available through platforms including Netflix, Amazon, Max, Showtime and Comedy Central.

She has received the American Comedy Award for Best Female Comedian and the Phyllis Diller Award for Best Female Comedian.

Tickets will be available to Wilson Center Members beginning Tuesday, August 25, at 10 a.m.

The general public can purchase tickets online and in person beginning Friday, August 28, at 10 a.m.

The Wilson Center is encouraging fans to purchase tickets directly through its official ticketing source to avoid scams.
