Comic Book Fandom and Collectables Come to the Cape Fear Pop Culture Fest 2026
(WWAY) — Grab your superhero family & space cadet friends, climb onto your dragon, and make your way to the Cape Fear Pop Culture Fest this Saturday for some out of the world fun. The event is presented by the Collectors Crusade United.
Wilmington’s largest true pop culture event this summer will have something for the whole family. There will be vendors who specialize in everything from comic books, retro video games, Pokemon cards, Legos, anime, and much more. You can get your hands on physical media like VHS tapes, DVDs, Blu-Ray disks, and vinyl records.
Local artists and crafters will be attending to sell their handmade drawings and crafts inspired by various genre media. For the first time the Pop Culture Fest will have a cosplay contest; so be sure to dress in your best fantasy and science fiction attire and submit your look by 3pm. Amazing door prizes will be given every hour starting at 11am!
Admission is $5. Kids 12 and Under Free with a paying adult! The event will take place on Saturday July 25th, 2026 from 10am to 5pm. The location is at The Elks Lodge
