Community discussions on gang problem continue Monday
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The City of Wilmington continues its series of meetings on gangs with its third community conversation Monday night.
UNCW and CFCC are partnering with the city to host the meeting from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the fifth floor of CFCC’s Union Station building on N. Front St. downtown.
This meeting will focus on the role education plays to address issues such as crime and violence. It will include a panel discussion with UNCW Chancellor Gary Miller, CFCC President Ted Spring, New Hanover County Schools Superintendent Tim Markley, District Court Judge James Faison and Wilmington Housing Authority Board Chair Jeff Hovis.
