Crimestoppers offering reward for info in Wilmington teen’s murder

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Weeks following an unsolved murder in Wilmington, Crimestoppers is now offering a $5,000 reward for any information that can lead to an arrest.

Police say 18-year-old Zalleux Johnson died at the hospital after they found him shot along Emory Street on February 21.

Johnson’s family has come forward pleading for answers and help from the public.

This was the first homicide in 2019 within the city.

Police continue to investigate this killing.
