DA keeps seat in Brunswick, Bladen and Columbus counties

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Jon David will keep his seat as District Attorney in Brunswick, Bladen and Columbus counties.

David won the Republican primary with 59 percent of the vote over attorney Ryan Smithwick.

Although this was the primary, David does not face a challenger in the fall. That means David will serve a second four-year term as the top prosecutor in the 13th Judicial District.
