Deputies search for missing Pender County teen

EDITORS NOTE: The Pender County Sheriff’s Office says Charity Rice was found in Bladen County on March 27 and has been returned to her parents.

PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Pender County Sheriff’s Office is asking your help in locating a Currie teen who was last seen more than a week ago.

Charity Rice, 17, was last seen around noon on March 16 when she left her mother’s home in the 9000 block of US Hwy 421.

Deputies say she may possibly be in the Elizabethtown or Clarkton areas of Bladen County.

Anyone with information concerning her whereabouts is asked to contact the Pender County Sheriff’s Office at 910-259-1212.
