Former N.C. State track star takes 10th at Boston Marathon
BOSTON (AP) — A former North Carolina State performer and NCAA champion has made her mark in the Boston Marathon.
Kristin Price, a former Wolfpack track and cross country All-America, finished tenth in the women's race at the Boston Marathon in two hours, 38 minutes and 57 seconds.
Price, who runs for the Adidas Raleigh Track Club, won her marathon debut in October at the Columbus Marathon in two hours, 44 minutes and nine seconds.
Price has qualified for the 2008 US Olympic Marathon Trials.
While at N-C State, Price was the NCAA champion in the ten-thousand meters in 2002.
