Free community health fair planned for Pender County
CURRIE, NC (WWAY) — Mt. Calvary Center for Leadership Development is partnering with Moore’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church to host a free community health fair Thursday in Pender County.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 24 at the church, located at 60 Minuteman Road in Currie.
The health fair will include multiple community organizations and agencies, including the Pender County Health Department, Trinity Health Care, Coastal Horizons, State Employees’ Credit Union of Burgaw and Walgreens of Burgaw.
Free flu, pneumonia, RSV and COVID-19 shots will be available.
The event is open to everyone and will also include community resources, giveaways and other outreach services.
